My specialisation are National Heritage palaces and monuments belonging to the province of Madrid. I offer unforgettable specialised visits.

Palaces and Monuments

Monasterio de la Encarnación. A monastery founded by Queen Margarita of Austria in the 17th century. It is attached to the Alcazar de Madrid by a passage way and boasts one of the finest collections of religious relics in Europe.

Monasterio de las Descalzas Reales. Juana of Austria create in the 17th century one of the most spectacular monasteries in central Madrid. Juana de Austria en el siglo XVI crea uno de los monasterios más espectaculares que tiene el centro de Madrid. Austere living and religious art are united in this convent-museum.

Palacio Real del Pardo

Palacio Real de Aranjuez and gardens. This fertile floodplain at the convergence of the Tajo and Jarama rivers became the country residence par excellence of the Spanish kings.

– Women who have stood out in Madrid’s history. A trip through historic Madrid, retracing the steps of the women who made major contributions to the city and its story

– Cervantes and the Barrio de las Letras. Literary visit from the Plaza Mayor until el Paseo del Prado passing through Madrid de las Austrias, until arriving at the Barrio de las Letras

– Galdós’ Madrid. Specialised visit about the life and work of writer Benito Pérez Galdós at the centennial of his death. Walk through the streets and buildings where his characters lived and who portrayed a Madrid like few authors have managed to equal

– Madrid of the Spanish Civil War. Guided tours through the streets and buildings which were places wrecked by the struggle

– Capricho Park. The Capricho Park is the only remaining Romantic garden in Madrid. It used to be the recreational villa of the Duchess of Osuna

– Salón del Prado. Project sponsored by Carlos III to give the people of Madrid a place relaxation in nature where they could enjoy art with the famous fountains of Apollo, Neptune and the Sybils.

– Historic Madrid. Guided tours beginning in the Plaza Mayor and finishing in the Monasterio de las Descalzas Reales. Get to know where the kings and court members lived (both those belonging to the Austrian and Bourbon dynasties)

– Madrid Monumental. Starting at the Plaza Mayor and finishing in the Thyssen Bornemisza museum, we will discover the buildings and histories of the Bourbon dynasty which transformed Madrid in the 18th century
